How to get there

Rovinj is accessible by car, with Zagreb 3 hours, Ljubljana 2 hours and Venice just over 3 hours travel time away.

Easyjet offer direct flights between Pula and Bristol and London Gatwick.
Ryanair offer direct flights to Pula and Zagreb from London Stansted.
Also consider flights to Ljubljana/Slovenia and Venice/Italy.

Be sure to vist one of the smaller towns near to Rovinj while you're there - Porec, Visnjan or Pazin, while stopping off to enjoy the scenary and culinary delights en route.

FAQ

Yes, the motorway from Zagreb to Rovinj via Rijeka is fast and cheap. A good stop-off is Kupjak Service Station which is around halfway on the journey.

Ucka Nature Park and Risnjak National Park are both great if you have a longer stay. If time is tight, the Mirna river valley offers some great opportunities for walking/hiking.

The averages for June are H-25° L-19°. Rain is unpredictable but improbable. Be sure to pack sunscreen and your swimming costume for the daytime, and a couple of layers for the evenings.

Our favourites are; Big steps at Ulica Luigija Montija (great if you want a clean entrance/exit), Town swim at Plaza Balota, and Crveni otok if you're feeling adventurous!

Parking can be expensive in Rovinj, try and get accommodation with parking included/discounted if possible. Carshare and search out the free parking spots near to the centre if not.

Getting from the Ceremony to the Reception

Parking is provided in the Church carpark during the Ceremony. Following the photographs, the wedding procession will leave for the Reception. All cars will travel in convoy to Tipico Garden, which is just under 5km / 10mins away.

Once at Tipico Garden, there is ample space for parking. Cars can be left overnight and collected on the Sunday.

Reception Celebration

The Reception will start from 17:30 and will continue throughout the evening and night.

The Reception is located in an outdoor garden. For your own comfort, please wear/bring suitable footwear.
The evenings in June can be cooler, so we recommend bringing a warm overlay.

Getting from the Reception home

Taxis will be arranged to transfer you home throughout the night. The schedule will be displayed at the venue on the day.
